From Kathmandu, you can hiking to Chisapani, Sundarijal, Godawari, Nagarkot, Namoboudha, Chandragiri, Nagarjun, etc. whereas from Pokhara you can hike to Sarangkot, World Peace Stupa, Dhampus, Australian Camp, Panchase, Bhadaure, etc. All these hiking trips are very beautiful and bring you to experience some local culture and taste the local delicacies. Chisapani- Nagarkot Hiking: 2Nights/ 3Days
Day01: The trail goes through Shivapuri national park and goes through some villages. This hiking is very suitable for those people who have 2-3days leisure time and want to be in a peaceful natural place from where can see the panoramic view of snow mountains and get fresh air, fresh food, etc. First day of the trek is mostly walking upwards through the shivapuri forest. You’ll have chance to see some wild animals eg. Deers, Wild boars, Monkeys, Birds, etc. After walking 5 hrs something you’ll arrive at Chisapani village. The village is perched on the ridge of a hill. From here you can see superb sunrise view along with the down valleys with farm terraces.
Day02: Chisapani- Nagarkot, 5-6hrs walk
After watching beautiful sunrise with the panoramic view of snow mountains and having a healthy breakfast on the hotel Garden we’ll start to walk towards Nagarkot. Today we’ll have bit longer walk but the route is much smoother than the earlier day. Nagarkot is larger village with more hotels. And the view from here is superb.
Day03: Nagarkot- Bhaktapur – Drive to Kathmandu
In the morning we watch beautiful sunrise again and have a healthy breakfast. Then we start to walk downwards to Bhktapur. It’s a beautiful walk and easy walk. We can visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square as well (Optional) if the time permits and you if have interest on visiting this old town with full of Hindu temples and old houses. It’s 1 hr drive from Bhaktapur to Kathmandu.
Australian Camp- Dhampus Trek /Hiking

Australian Camp – Dhampus Trek: 1Night/ 2Days:
Day01: Pokhara- Naudanda- Australian Camp
The day will start after taking breakfast in Pokhara and drive to Naudanda. It’s 1hr scenic drive. From naudanda we’ll start to walk through the ridge of hill passing through some villages. On the way we’ll pass through a Monastery. So, if you are interested on Buddhist Religion the n we can spend some time here. After walking bit further we’ll have Lunch at Kande. After Lunch we continue to walk through Rhododendron forest with the fascinating views on the both sides of the trail.
Australian Camp is a beautiful place atop a hill from where you can see superb Sunset and sunrise along with the snow mountains.
Day02: Australian Camp- Dhampus- Phedi- Pokhara
After watching beautiful Sunrise and having a healthy breakfast we start to walk through the Rhododendron forest. After 1.5 hrs walk we’ll arrive at beautiful village- Dhampus. It’s a large village with traditional houses and a cultural museum. We’ll have lunch here. After lunch we walk down to Phedi (Ghatte Khola) and drive back to Pokhara
