Short Everest Trek:

The Short Everest Trek offers a brief journey into the Everest region for travelers with limited time who still want to see Mount Everest. The route follows part of the classic Everest trail, passing through Sherpa villages, riverside paths, and cultural landmarks along the way.

The trek begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla, the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing small settlements, prayer wheels, chortens, and monasteries. The route continues to Namche Bazaar, the main village in the region, where trekkers get their first clear views of the surrounding mountains.

From Namche, the trail leads to Khumjung Village and the Everest View Hotel. This area offers wide views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, and Thamserku. Khumjung is a traditional Sherpa village with stone houses, fields, and a historic monastery that holds a well-known cultural artifact linked to local legends.

The trek is short but includes steady uphill and downhill sections, with daily walking times of around 4 to 6 hours. Accommodation is in teahouses along the route. Day to Day Itinerary

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu and trip preparation (1,300m)

Day02: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m), 3 – 4 hours

Day03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m), 5 – 6 hours

Day04: Hike to Everest view hotel and explore Khumjung village & Khumjung monastery

Day05: Back to lukla (2860 meter), 8 hours

Day06: Fly back to Kathmandu and explore Kathmandu

Day07: Final departure
