The area sits on a forested ridge between villages and sees fewer trekkers than nearby main routes. It is often chosen for its quiet walking paths and simple mountain stays.

The journey usually begins with a drive from Pokhara to the lower foothills near Beni, followed by a gradual ascent through small villages and farmland. The trail passes through mixed forest, terraced fields, and rural settlements where daily life follows farming seasons. Most nights are spent in community lodges that are run by local groups along the route.

From Mohare Danda, the ridge opens to wide views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Peaks such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Gurja Himal, and Tukuche appear across the horizon, depending on weather conditions. Sunrises and sunsets are a main highlight, with light shifting across the surrounding ridgelines and valleys.

This trek is considered moderate, with daily walking times of around 4 to 6 hours. Accommodation is in simple eco-community lodges with shared facilities and home-cooked meals.
