mountains on view. From Tengboche all mountains are closer and you can even
view them from your bedroom or dining hall or if you just step out of the door to
see best Himalayan mountains views. You can see sunrise or sunset view from
here making you feel that you are in heaven on earth! The path continues to
ascend to the villages of Pangboche (3930 meter), Pheriche (4200 meter),
Dinboche (4358 meter) and reaching to khumbu glacier . The path follows the
giacier, first to lobuche and then to Gorakshep. The views are spectacular as you
continue to walk to Gorakshep(5100 meter), the last settlement before reaching
EBC. The Everest base camp is 2.5 to 3 hrs gentle walk form Gorakshep. From
Everest base camp( 5364 meter)you can have a closer spectacular view of khumba
icefall. And you’ll have a best view point, Kalapather(5550 meter) from where you
can get 360 degree mountains views including awesome views of Mt. Everest
(8848 meter), Mt. Nupste, Pumari mountain, Aama dablam, Tabuche, Lobuche
and many more Himalayan views.

Climbing peak is not that easy like a trekking but while you are on the Top of the Peak then you’ll have enormous Proud feeling and the scenery from the top is breathtaking. While you reach the top you’ll forget
everything and just would have a heavenly feeling which you never have had experienced
before and it remains throughout your whole life. The Journey of Island peak climbing nepal starts from
Kathmandu fly to Lukla and follow Dudhkoshi River which takes you to the largest settlement (Namche
Bazar) before further entering into the forest of higher mountains, including Mt. Everest.
After EBC (Everest Base Camp) the trail takes you to Komgma la Pass (5535 meter) which is one
of the highest passes in Nepal . After crossing the pass you’ll arrive Chhukung village. Chhukung
is the last village (with a proper lodge to stay) before heading towards the Island Peak.
After Chhukung you’ll be sleeping in a Tented Camp. You’ll have some Climbing training at the
Island Base camp. And the next day (early in the morning) you’ll start to conquer the Island
Peak. Most of the climbers do reach the peak before noon time.
After summiting the Island Peak you’ll be walking down to Chhukung and in other days to

Physical Condition & Experience Requirements

Normal trekkers who has pre-trekking experiences and has reached the altitude of 3,000m are eligible of climbing Island Peak without much difficulties.

Note;- The climbers would be given a pre-climbing training before heading towards the summit, so, it makes them feel easier and acquires much confidence to summit the peak.
